The recent popularity of the carbon fiber sector is quite high, with many noteworthy pieces of information ranging from industry fundamentals to corporate developments.

Let's first look at the latest progress on the corporate side. HeXing Carbon Fiber, a subsidiary of HeShun Technology, has successfully completed joint debugging and testing of its M-grade carbon fiber project during the carbonization stage. The performance of T800-grade products has reached an internationally advanced level, and the production line is operating smoothly. Jilin Chemical Fiber's carbon fiber capacity continues to rank first in the country and second globally, with an additional 12,000-ton composite material production line and 600-ton small tow capacity from Kaimike. Jilin Carbon Valley is also continuously advancing; as the largest raw filament production base for carbon fiber in China, a project with an annual output of 150,000 tons of raw filament plus 30,000 tons of high-performance raw filament is underway.

Other companies also have their own特色. Guangwei Composites is a benchmark in China's entire carbon fiber industry chain, with revenue from civilian wind power carbon beams increasing by 48% year-on-year, and it has deeply integrated with multiple aerospace system units. Zhongjian Technology mainly produces high-performance carbon fibers and is a core supplier for aerospace. Zhongfu Shenying currently has a capacity of 28,500 tons, with an additional 30,000 tons under construction; its dry jet wet spinning process capacity is leading domestically. AVIC High-Tech, as the only carbon fiber composite material industrialization platform under China Aviation Industry Group, has developed T800-grade prepreg that has reached internationally advanced levels. Nanjing Julong's 30-ton composite material production line project is also supporting commercial aerospace applications. Montai High-Tech plans to produce 23,900 tons of PAN-based raw filament and 11,000 tons of carbon fiber annually, built in two phases.

Market signals are also quite clear. Carbon fiber prices have recently risen significantly, indicating that the industry is starting to move upward from the cycle bottom. Toray of Japan's price increase actions have sent positive signals, and domestic companies are adjusting their prices accordingly. Behind this wave of price increases are the rapid development of commercial aerospace and the industry's overall demand for price recovery. The resonance between industry cycles and demand provides considerable imagination space for this sector.

ngl the whale movements in carbon fiber are starting to show classic accumulation patterns... reading between the lines here, pricing cycle bottoming + institutional flow = next leg up incoming. not financial advice but the smart money's already positioned before the mainstream catches wind of this

The recent trend in carbon fiber, to put it simply, is a price rebound from the bottom. Toray led the way domestically, followed by others, a typical wealth secret. However, I have to say, with all these capacity data piling up, how many of them can actually be implemented? Over the years of raising three kids, I've seen too many "joint debugging and testing" projects that ultimately ended in failure. We have to wait for subsequent deliveries to believe it.
