#稳定币生态发展 Just now, while learning about stablecoins, I came across a set of data that really shocked me 😅
The transaction volume of stablecoin payments is almost half, which sounds quite decentralized. But upon checking, I found that the top 1000 wallets control 85% of the transfer volume... What's going on? It feels a bit different from my understanding of the crypto world.
Although there are quite a few P2P transactions, the amount share is so low. Does this mean that large holders are transferring among institutional wallets, and our small-scale payments are simply not significant? 🤔
In that case, are stablecoins still considered decentralized? I really want to hear everyone's opinions. Is this an inevitable stage at the moment, or are there genuine risks that need to be guarded against?
