The first time getting rich is hard to hold onto:
Money comes in too fast and furious, usually relying on luck, market trends, or one-time opportunities. People tend to get carried away, become inflated in mindset, spend extravagantly, show off wealth, invest recklessly, leverage heavily, or get "bloodsucked" by friends and family. Impulsive decisions, unstable foundations—over time, it all collapses.

The second time getting rich is true wealth:
Having experienced losses and big setbacks, after enough hardship, you start to wake up. Learn self-discipline, risk control, delayed gratification, stay away from useless socializing and bad influences. Rely on systematic accumulation, steady business, and low-profile conservatism. Even with average ability, the second time is more stable because those who fear poverty the most know how not to fall back into it.

In a nutshell: Living a lifetime of wealth once is enough, but it must be rooted—getting rich suddenly like a rocket is easy to blow up; maintaining wealth like planting a tree is slow but deeply rooted.

Ordinary people who want long-term wealth prefer to be slow and steady rather than gambling on "get rich overnight and fall back into poverty overnight."
