Zhuimi Official Announces Chip Manufacturing: The "Sky Dome" Series Chips Have Achieved Mass Production
Officially announcing vehicle manufacturing, ZhiMi Technology has embarked on a new journey. Its ecosystem company, XinJi ChuanYue, announced the development of its own chips and stated that mass production has been achieved.
XinJi ChuanYue’s “TianQiong” Series Chips Are in Mass Production
On March 11, at the “AWE2026 Chip Industry Summit Forum” jointly hosted by ZhiMi Technology and CCTV Finance, XinJi ChuanYue launched the “TianQiong” series chips and announced that they have entered large-scale mass production, soon to be integrated into ZhiMi’s general robotics product line.
The company explains that the “TianQiong” series chips are currently the most integrated SoC in the industry. They feature a heterogeneous platform composed of multi-core CPU + dedicated NPU + independent MCU, supporting ZhiMi’s self-developed laser radar + AI visual fusion perception and advanced algorithms like binocular obstacle avoidance. This enables highly accurate navigation and obstacle avoidance in complex home environments, truly making robotic vacuum cleaners smooth, maintenance-free, and reliable.
Meanwhile, XinJi ChuanYue also revealed the latest progress in its space computing power layout—upcoming launch of the “YaoTai” series space computing boxes, marking the first step in building a supercomputing center in near-Earth orbit. This signifies that XinJi ChuanYue has officially moved from R&D into industrialization.
According to reports, in March this year, the first “YaoTai” series space computing box will be launched, initiating preliminary validation of interstellar computing networks.
At the forum, XinJi ChuanYue showcased for the first time its full-scenario computing product matrix, covering intelligent terminals to space computing. This product matrix precisely targets the next-generation AI computing market with billions of potential users. Its business scope includes mobile processors, autonomous driving chips, space computing centers, as well as personal super AI computers and general robotics SoCs.
Dedicated to Redefining Chips for the AI Era
In a market dominated by giants like NVIDIA and AMD, what gives XinJi ChuanYue the courage to develop its own chips?
The company states that it is not a startup from scratch. As an incubated company by ZhiMi Technology, XinJi ChuanYue is a “new branch” growing from ZhiMi’s “technological roots.” It inherits ZhiMi’s strong innovation DNA, emerging in response to the times, and aims to create chips in a more breakthrough, innovative, and disruptive way—redefining the chips of the AI era.
XinJi ChuanYue further explains that it directly targets AI-native computing needs, designing purer and more efficient architectures. Its chips will be co-designed with algorithms, achieving full-stack collaborative optimization from instruction sets to application layers, enabling the chips to deliver computing power beyond simple stacking.
Defining chips based on scenarios is a unique advantage granted to XinJi ChuanYue by ZhiMi Technology.
The company states that leveraging ZhiMi’s millions of units shipped in robotics and smart cleaning, along with real-world scenario data, allows a better understanding of end-user needs. By reusing ZhiMi’s core intelligent algorithms and supply chain systems, the company enables chip R&D and robotics business to mutually feed off data and scenarios, fostering disruptive and sustainable innovation.
Scenario Is King in the AI Inference Era
During the forum’s keynote speech and roundtable discussions, many industry experts noted that AI is ushering in a new wave of technological revolution. Chips are the heart of the AI era; their speed directly determines how quickly and broadly we explore intelligent boundaries. Computing power is currently the most scarce and valuable strategic resource.
“The chip industry is redefining how the world operates, reshaping industrial development logic, and influencing the fundamental operation modes of human civilization,” said Wu Zhongze, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, at the summit. He added that government emphasis and support for the chip and computing power industries inject strong momentum into cultivating new productive forces.
As large models and AI applications accelerate deployment, AI inference chips are becoming a major market focus and a new opportunity for Chinese AI chip companies to accelerate growth.
“Investment in computing infrastructure continues to grow, and localization is unstoppable,” said Cui Huimin, researcher at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Citing data from Bernstein’s “2025 China Chip Industry Report,” she noted that domestic AI chip sales are projected to grow from $6 billion in 2024 to $16 billion in 2025, with market share rising from 29% to 42%, an increase of 112%, roughly three times the growth rate of foreign markets.
Looking ahead at the development of AI and Chinese AI chips, many industry experts suggest fully leveraging scenario advantages, strengthening technological foundations, and building an open, international-oriented ecosystem to accelerate the development of domestically produced AI chips.
