This is a self-description from a friend I’ve known for many years:

A 35-year-old Chaoshan native settled in Shanghai, with 9 years in the crypto space, growing from 470,000 to hundreds of millions!
I am 35 years old, from Chaoshan, now rooted in Shanghai, with two properties.
All of this is the result of 9 years of hard work in the crypto world, turning 470,000 principal into a fortune.
During that time, I experienced a maximum drawdown to just 60,000, but I used a “simple method” to achieve a wealth reversal, with the most aggressive wave yielding 400 times in 4 months, earning 20 million! Behind this is the accumulation of my practical experience over more than 3,300 days.
Focus on the bull market, master the main upward wave
A bull market isn’t about picking up money everywhere; greed leads to loss. I always focus on one sector and deeply explore the main upward wave.
Choose new coins over old ones; follow market preferences
When selecting coins, prefer “new over old.” Old coins may seem cheap, but most have lost vitality and are tools for harvesting retail investors. The market favors new stories, new expectations, and new coins that attract popularity and can bring substantial returns.
Strictly adhere to cycles, clear out holdings at the end of a bull market to stay safe
The crypto cycle repeats every four years. At the end of a bull market, you must sell all altcoins. When you see delivery drivers and convenience store owners talking about which coin can multiply tenfold, that’s the peak. If you don’t sell now, the bear market will make you suffer a 90% drawdown.
“Simple” strategy, steady and sure
Don’t blindly chase hot topics; what you chase is often leftovers. Spend time researching projects with market recognition but not yet wildly popular. Pick a few promising sectors, choose two coins in each—one a leader for stability, one with potential for risk-taking. Control your positions, be cautious in bear markets, gradually add in bull markets, and decisively clear out at the end of a bull run.
I’ve seen too many people make a fortune in a bull market only to lose everything in a few months of a bear market. I don’t have extraordinary talent; I just survive in the crypto space with this “simple” logic, and I’m doing pretty well.
If you want to turn crypto into a career, don’t first ask which coin can multiply tenfold. Think first about whether you can withstand a 90% drop and come out intact. The market isn’t about smart people; it’s about those who survive the cycles and keep the rhythm.
If you’re also confused in the crypto world, try my “simple approach.” It’s not difficult; the hard part is whether you can “slow down,” stay emotionally steady, because there are many opportunities in crypto, but only those who stay alive can seize them.
