Trump Says Military Action Against Iran Will End Soon

According to Axios News, President Trump stated on the 11th that there are “hardly any targets left to strike” inside Iran, and U.S. military operations against Iran will conclude shortly.

Trump said, “Whenever I want it to end, it ends. We are far ahead of schedule. The damage we’ve caused exceeds our initial expectations.”

US Media: FBI Says Iran May Launch Drone Attacks on California

On the 11th, U.S. media reported that the FBI recently warned that Iran might launch drone attacks on California, located on the U.S. West Coast, in retaliation for large-scale military actions against Iran.

According to ABC News, in a warning sent to police departments across California at the end of February, the FBI stated that based on information available up to early February, Iran plans to launch drones from an unidentified vessel outside U.S. shores to attack targets within California if the U.S. strikes Iran.

However, the FBI also said it does not have more details about the timing, targets, or perpetrators of such an attack.

The warning was issued amid the large-scale U.S. airstrikes against Iran. The FBI’s Los Angeles office declined to comment.

Another “Friendly Fire”? US Media Says Preliminary Investigation Finds US Responsible for School Attack in Iran

On the 11th, U.S. media reported that an ongoing investigation by the U.S. military preliminarily concluded that a school in Iran was hit by “Tomahawk” missiles on February 28, causing numerous casualties, and that it was a “friendly fire” incident for which the U.S. should be responsible.

The New York Times and The Intercept reported that the initial findings suggest U.S. forces misidentified their target while striking an IRGC naval base near the school. Some officials said that the Central Command used outdated data provided by the Defense Intelligence Agency to create the airstrike coordinates.

Officials emphasized that this is only a preliminary result, and key questions remain, such as why outdated information was not verified.

The New York Times noted that attacking a school full of children “will undoubtedly be recorded as one of the most serious military mistakes in recent decades.”

When asked about this preliminary investigation during a White House interview, President Trump said, “I don’t know anything about it.”

On the 9th, Trump stated at a press conference that the U.S. is investigating the incident but also baselessly claimed that Iran “also has some ‘Tomahawk’ missiles,” again implying that the school attack might have been caused by Iran.

On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran. An attack on a school in Minab, southern Iran, reportedly resulted in at least 165 deaths, mostly young girls around 10 years old, according to Iranian media. Multiple U.S. media outlets analyzed a video posted online on the 8th and concluded that a “Tomahawk” cruise missile hit the school, and only the U.S. military has used this missile in the conflict.

Iranian Armed Forces: Iran Will Change Its Strike Strategy

According to Iran’s Fars News Agency on the 11th, the spokesperson for Iran’s Hatem Al-Anbia Central Headquarters stated that Iran’s previous “reciprocal retaliation” has ended, and from now on, Iran will implement a “series of strikes” strategy.

The spokesperson said any ships belonging to the U.S., Israel, or their allies, and their oil cargoes, are considered legitimate targets for Iran’s armed forces.

He also said Iran will not allow a single drop of oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, so that the U.S., Israel, and their allies do not profit from it. (Reporters: Shadati, Zhao Yining)

Iran and Hezbollah “First” Joint Strikes Against Israel

On the early morning of the 12th, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the completion of the 40th wave of Operation “Real Commitment-4,” conducting joint operations with Hezbollah to target Israeli territory and U.S. military bases in the Middle East.

According to Israeli media, this is the first time since the large-scale military actions by the U.S. and Israel against Iran that Iran and Hezbollah have launched coordinated strikes against Israel.
