Abstract generation in progress

Recently, JinkoSolar successfully signed a supply agreement for 309MW of Tiger Neo 3.0 series high-efficiency photovoltaic modules with an important partner in Spain. This large-scale order marks another major breakthrough for JinkoSolar in the European centralized photovoltaic market. Thanks to their outstanding performance and reliability, Tiger Neo 3 modules are becoming the preferred solution for large ground-mounted solar projects.

As a leader in the European photovoltaic market, Spain boasts abundant solar resources. However, the typical continental climate brings extreme high temperatures in summer, large diurnal temperature variations, and a strong pursuit of lower Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE), which demands high-temperature power generation performance, long-term reliability, and system compatibility from PV modules. The Tiger Neo 3 modules, based on N-type TOPCon technology and featuring four core advantages, precisely meet the deep needs of Spanish ground power plants:

1. Outstanding “High-Temperature + Low-Diffuse” Dual Power Generation Capability, Enhancing All-Time Gains

To address the issue of power decline caused by high summer temperatures in Spain, the Tiger Neo 3 modules optimize the power temperature coefficient to -0.26%/℃, reducing approximately 1.5% of power loss under high-temperature conditions compared to traditional modules. Additionally, their excellent weak light response allows them to maintain 95%-98% of relative power output during dawn, dusk, and cloudy weather, effectively extending the effective power generation time of the plant and bringing extra energy yields.

2. Ultra-High Bifaciality and Ultra-Low First-Year Degradation, Optimizing Lifecycle Value

Thanks to advanced N-type cell technology, Tiger Neo 3 modules achieve an ultra-high bifaciality of 85% ±5%, fully utilizing reflected light from desert and sandy surfaces in Spain, resulting in 8%-12% backside power gain in typical ground scenarios. Coupled with first-year degradation of less than 1% and linear degradation of only -0.35%, they ensure high-efficiency, stable power output over the 30-year lifecycle, significantly reducing project LCOE and increasing investment return certainty.

3. High Power Density and Reliability, Reducing BOS Costs

The Tiger Neo 3 modules reach a maximum efficiency of 24.8%, with front-side power output of 650-670W. Higher power density means fewer modules, supports, cables, and installation time under the same capacity, effectively lowering BOS costs. Moreover, they have passed rigorous IEC standard tests and accelerated aging tests, demonstrating excellent resistance to PID, salt spray, and wind-blown sand, capable of handling Spain’s diverse surface environments and ensuring long-term safe and stable operation.

4. Perfect Compatibility with Large-Scale Plant Designs and Mainstream Tracking Systems

The design of Tiger Neo 3 modules fully considers compatibility with common tracking mounts used in large ground-mounted plants. Their mechanical load capacity and crack resistance have been optimized, enabling seamless integration with various tracking systems, reducing system complexity, and enhancing overall plant reliability and power generation efficiency.

The successful signing of this 309MW large order not only reflects deep mutual trust between JinkoSolar and its Spanish partners but also signifies high global recognition of the Tiger Neo 3 modules as the preferred solution for ground power stations. As the projects are connected to the grid one after another, these high-efficiency modules will continuously inject clean power into Spain’s grid, actively promoting energy independence and carbon neutrality goals, and contributing the “Jinko Power” to Europe and the global energy transition.
