The main development branch of the Bitcoin Core client has merged the Cluster Mempool update (PR #34616), which is expected to be included in the upcoming Bitcoin Core 31.0 version. This upgrade will redesign how nodes handle the mempool by grouping related transactions, improving block packing efficiency and optimizing fee calculations for RBF and CPFP transactions.
