On March 12, People’s Financial News reported that on the evening of March 11, local time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated in a release that they have recently launched approximately 200 projectiles from the air and sea targeting Hezbollah positions in Beirut, Lebanon. The statement indicated that the main targets of the IDF strikes included Hezbollah infrastructure, weapon depots, and central command headquarters in Beirut. Since the start of this military operation against Iran, the IDF has attacked about 70 Hezbollah targets in Beirut, including approximately 50 high-rise buildings used by Hezbollah. The statement also said that during these attacks on Beirut, the IDF killed Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander Adham Adnan Osman in Lebanon, senior Hezbollah commander Zaid Ali Juma, and five senior commanders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force.
