U.S. Intelligence Agencies: The Iranian Regime "Not at Risk of Collapse"

ChainCatcher reports that, according to Reuters, the latest U.S. intelligence indicates that the Iranian leadership remains “largely intact” and is not at immediate risk of collapse.

The reports state that numerous intelligence assessments provide “consistent analysis” suggesting that the regime “does not face a collapse danger.” Intelligence also indicates that the Iranian government “still controls the Iranian public.” Israeli officials, in closed-door talks, also acknowledged that the war “does not guarantee” the fall of the Iranian government. The local situation is described as “rapidly changing.”
