According to Jing Wang, CEO of OP Labs, OP Labs will lay off 20 team members. Affected employees will complete communication with their supervisors within a few hours; this adjustment is unrelated to financial conditions. The company has sufficient funds and several years of operational reserves. The main goal is to narrow the business focus, improve decision-making efficiency, and reduce collaboration costs. The compensation plan includes a base salary for at least 3 months, with an additional 1 month for each full year of employment, up to a maximum of 5 months; departing employees will be eligible for a 6-month extension of medical insurance and will retain their personal laptops. Jing Wang stated that he will personally assist departing employees with external recommendations.
