Abstract generation in progress

After Nvidia announced multiple technological breakthroughs at the GTC conference, the A-share computing power industry chain plummeted. On the morning of March 17, optical modules, optical communication, optical chips, and other computing sectors led the market decline, with most leading stocks giving back nearly five days of gains. Tenda Communication and Changguang Huaxin fell more than 8%, while popular stocks like Dongshan Precision, Guangku Technology, and Tengjing Technology also declined. Analysts believe that some of Nvidia’s new generation chips, which are expected to be launched in 2028, have caused short-term market sentiment disruptions. Although the iteration of related optical communication technologies presents long-term benefits, for funds seeking certainty, this positive news still leaves the subsequent growth impact on the industry chain uncertain. Coupled with high valuations and significant previous gains, short-term correction pressures are evident. (Yicai)
