Abstract generation in progress

Futu Securities, an internet brokerage, has fully launched its virtual asset trading platform, Leopard Trading. The two platforms are now fully connected, allowing investors to use the “Futu NiuNiu” app for one-stop management of stocks and virtual assets. An upcoming service will enable virtual asset trading through securities financing, using collateralized securities and funds to obtain virtual asset financing and directly trade virtual assets. In other words, investors can increase their virtual asset market exposure without adjusting their holdings.

Futu also plans to incorporate virtual asset holdings into a unified purchasing power calculation system under regulatory guidelines, further improving overall capital efficiency. This aims to enhance the cross-asset margin trading experience, enabling seamless capital flow and leverage between traditional finance and crypto markets. Meanwhile, Leopard Exchange is in close communication with regulators and will soon launch the world’s first compliant secondary market for tokenized currency market funds, offering 24/7 trading under high compliance standards.

One-Stop Service for ETF Issuers

Additionally, Futu will provide comprehensive services for virtual asset ETF issuers, including initial public offering (IPO) periods, on-chain and off-chain trading, traditional and virtual asset custody, and staking, to improve issuance and circulation efficiency.

Seamless Cross-Asset Investment

Futu Group Managing Director Zeng Yuchao stated that as the company accelerates the integration of its self-built compliant virtual asset exchange, it is becoming a bridge connecting traditional finance and virtual assets. This will offer investors seamless cross-asset allocation and help Hong Kong solidify its position as Asia’s Web 3.0 and digital asset hub.

Zeng emphasized that the company will continue to prioritize the highest standards of compliance, security, and technological innovation, promoting the collaborative development of traditional finance and virtual assets, and building a smarter, more inclusive, and forward-looking investment ecosystem for Hong Kong and global investors.
