Wu Shuo has learned that MilkyWay announced the closure of its L1 chain, completing chain upgrades and asset migration before shutdown. Assets on MilkyWay L1 will be returned to their native chains; user assets previously held have been returned to native chains (for example, TIA that was bridged from Celestia has been returned to the Celestia network). Previously in January, MilkyWay Protocol initiated liquidation and permanent closure due to insufficient DeFi demand in the Celestia ecosystem and declining restaking activity.
