In the first two months of this year, the SCO Demonstration Zone's imports and exports with other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization grew 17.6%.

According to customs statistics, in the first two months of this year, the SCO Demonstration Zone’s imports and exports to other SCO member countries totaled 16.35 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%. Among them, exports reached 8.92 billion yuan, a growth of 25.4%; imports were 7.43 billion yuan, an increase of 9.5%. The industrial clustering advantage of the SCO Demonstration Zone has driven significant growth in the export of certain products, with electromechanical and high-tech products achieving double-digit growth. Meanwhile, the zone’s import categories have further expanded, with imports of meat, aquatic products, and other agricultural products increasing sharply by 24.5%, and imports of aluminum and coal doubling in value.
