Nintendo Cuts Switch 2 Gaming Console Production by Over 30% Amid Lower-Than-Expected Holiday Demand

According to reports, due to last year’s holiday season sales falling short of expectations, especially with weak performance in the U.S. market, Nintendo has significantly reduced the production of the Switch 2 console. Nintendo plans to produce 4 million units of this flagship product this quarter, about one-third less than the originally planned 6 million units. The reduction is expected to continue until April.
