According to data from the Nanfang Financial Terminal, yesterday (March 23) the Shanghai Composite Index fell 3.63% intraday, closing at 3,813.28 points, with a high of 3,906.62 points; the Shenzhen Component Index fell 3.76% intraday, closing at 13,345.51 points, with a high of 13,758.97 points; the ChiNext Index fell 3.49% intraday, closing at 3,235.22 points, with a high of 3,334.46 points.
Yesterday, the combined margin financing and securities lending balance in the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was 2,611.868 billion yuan, with a margin financing balance of 2,595.171 billion yuan and a securities lending balance of 16.697 billion yuan. The total balance decreased by 12.152 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. By market, the Shanghai margin financing balance was 1,334.972 billion yuan, down 5.40 billion yuan; the Shenzhen margin financing balance was 1,276.896 billion yuan, down 6.75 billion yuan.
A total of 3,487 stocks in both markets had margin financing buy-ins, with the top three being EasySun, Zhongji Xuchuang, and Sunshine Power, with buy-in amounts of 4.128 billion yuan, 3.257 billion yuan, and 1.989 billion yuan respectively.
