Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 26, according to Turkey's NTV television, a Turkish oil tanker loaded with crude oil was attacked by a drone in the Black Sea near Istanbul. The report states that the attack occurred 15 miles off the Bosporus Strait, targeting the "Altura" (M/T Altura) oil tanker. Ship tracking data shows that the tanker was carrying approximately 1 million barrels of Ural crude oil shipped from Novorossiysk. The "Altura" has been sanctioned by the UK and the EU but has not yet been sanctioned by the United States. Turkish maritime news website HaberDenizde reported that an explosion occurred on the tanker’s bridge, and the engine room also took on water. There are no reports of casualties at this time.
