The announcement states that Lei Jun has resigned as a non-executive director due to other work commitments, effective from the 25th. Lei Jun will also no longer serve as Chairman, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, or member of the Remuneration Committee of the Board. Vice Chairman Zou Tao has been appointed as Chairman and Chairman of the Nomination Committee, and Qu Heng has been appointed as a non-executive director, member of the Nomination Committee, and member of the Remuneration Committee, all effective from the same date.

Kingsoft Cloud stated that the board believes Lei Jun’s resignation will not have any significant adverse impact on the Group’s business operations or financial condition.

Zou Tao has been a director of Kingsoft Cloud since December 2016 and served as acting CEO after the resignation of CEO Wang Yulin in 2022.

Qu Heng is currently Vice President of Xiaomi (01810) and Chairman of the Group Technology Committee. From 2018 to 2023, he served as General Manager of Xiaomi’s Ecosystem Department, responsible for products such as Xiaomi Band, robot vacuum cleaners, and air purifiers. Since 2023, he has been serving as Vice President of Xiaomi and Chairman of the Group Technology Committee.
