Abstract generation in progress

Sohu.com reported on February 27 (by Li Nan): Following the explosive popularity of AI shopping during the Spring Festival, Alibaba’s personal AI assistant “Qianwen” is officially entering the AI hardware field. This year, it will launch multiple AI hardware products in various forms for the global market. Qianwen will debut its first AI glasses of the same name at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, and will open online and offline (300959) multi-channel reservations starting March 2.

According to reports, Alibaba is developing Qianwen as an integrated software and hardware AI assistant that spans multiple device forms. Moving beyond smartphones, Qianwen will be able to capture more physical world information, understand user intentions in complex living scenarios, and unlock more possibilities for AI. The Qianwen app’s capabilities such as ordering takeout and hailing taxis will also seamlessly connect to devices like the Qianwen AI glasses.

An insider from Alibaba revealed that besides the AI glasses, Qianwen will also release products like AI rings and AI earphones throughout the year, targeting the global market.

During this Spring Festival, thanks to its powerful “service” capabilities, the Qianwen app quickly became a national-level AI assistant. During this period, nearly 200 million “one-sentence orders” were placed on Qianwen nationwide, with an average of 1 in 10 people placing orders through Qianwen. According to QuestMobile, the daily active users of the Qianwen app have exceeded 73 million, approaching Doubao.

Meanwhile, the latest generation of Qianwen’s large model 3.5 was released on New Year’s Eve. From large models, mobile apps, PC platforms, product services, to various forms of AI hardware, Alibaba is building a new product and service system for the AI era.
