Futures continue to decline. In the early trading session, the nearby spot market in Taicang, Jiangsu, for methanol remains weak, while the forward paper-to-physical basis is relatively strong. At the opening, Taicang spot and monthly negotiations are around 2150-2160 yuan/ton, with a basis of -30 to -35 yuan/ton; March basis negotiations are 05-18 to -23 yuan/ton; March forward negotiations are +3 to +8 yuan/ton.
