Beijing adds 19 new designated medical insurance institutions

People’s Financial News, March 26 — According to Beijing Release, the Beijing Medical Insurance Bureau recently announced that starting March 26, 19 new medical insurance designated medical institutions have been added in Haidian District, including Haidian Street Community Health Service Center and others. Among them are 14 village clinics, 3 community health service stations, and 2 community health service centers. Also, starting March 26, three designated medical institutions—Beijing Dongfang Jingcheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Beijing Wánbó Brain Rehabilitation Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Beijing Tongrentang Jingbei Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. Laiguangying Pharmacy—have had their insurance service agreements terminated because they can no longer provide services to insured individuals. Additionally, two designated medical institutions—Jingyuan Hospital in Fengtai District and Zhuangtou Village Clinic in Renhe Town, Shunyi District—have had their insurance service agreements terminated due to operational issues or deregistration. Expenses incurred at these five medical institutions by insured individuals will not be covered by the medical insurance fund.
