The Beijing News Shell Finance Report (Reporter Huang Xinyu) recently reported that the Bank of Communications plans to apply for the revocation of its private banking license. On March 25, the reporter learned from the Bank of Communications that, to strengthen its wealth management features and improve customer service capabilities, the bank’s board of directors approved a retail sector reform, including organizational restructuring. The related work is being carried out carefully and in accordance with proper procedures.

The Bank of Communications emphasized that its existing private banking services, rights, and processes are not affected; it also stated that it will continue to adhere to a customer-centric approach and provide higher quality and more efficient financial services.
