In partnership with technology · Face-to-face: Fenghua Gaoke Research Institute organizes a youth backbone symposium
Youth Backbone Symposium
Spring awakens all things, and the right time gathers talent. To thoroughly implement the strategy of strengthening the company with talent and to genuinely care for the growth and development of young R&D personnel, Fenghua Gaoke Research Institute actively practices the FAITH management philosophy, adheres to a people-oriented approach, and closely follows the “1+2+4+4+N” reform development plan and seven strategic initiatives. Recently, it held the “Walking with Technology—Face-to-Face” Youth R&D Backbone Symposium. Dr. Cao Xiuhua, member of the company’s Party Committee and Vice President,
was invited to share insights and exchange ideas directly with young R&D leaders, further inspiring their enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship, and supporting their robust growth.
Tech Veterans Share Wisdom
Dr. Cao opened with two videos: one of the 2026 Davos Forum and another of her interview at CES, using vivid industry cases and cutting-edge technological trends to kick off the discussion, instantly capturing everyone’s attention. Drawing on her over twenty years of experience in R&D and management, as well as the profound impact of rapid AI technology iterations on work, life, and learning, she shared her personal growth insights to guide the young professionals: First, in technical R&D, patience is key—don’t fear trial and error or taking detours; every failure is nourishment for eventual breakthroughs. Second, resilience training is essential for career growth—when facing various challenges in R&D, stay calm, break down problems step by step, refine solutions, and achieve qualitative leaps through repeated efforts. Third, maintain a passion for learning—especially now in the AI computing era with broad prospects in the electronic component industry—embrace new technologies, learn new tools and methods, and use them to promote efficient innovation. She encouraged everyone to pursue their mission with ambition, align with industry needs, dare to act, compete, and create, and integrate personal growth into the company’s overall development, realizing self-value through tackling core technologies.
Sharing Growth Insights
The symposium was conducted in an open and relaxed atmosphere, with nearly 30 young backbone members from different R&D teams sitting together, freely sharing their thoughts and experiences. Topics included “How to systematically and correctly use AI,” “How to plan your career path,” and “Process and standardization issues,” among others—participants shared their practical experiences and expressed their questions and concerns.
1
Engineer Yang: AI R&D, High-End Layout, Bright Future
Yang, working in the slurry room, shared his views on AI and expressed excitement about the company’s and research institute’s efforts in AI-enabled R&D, AI-assisted patent searches, and high-end product layout. He believes the development prospects are promising and plans to quickly adapt to the new R&D environment.
2
Engineer Wan: R&D Management, Mindset Shift, Growth through Reflection
Wan, responsible for R&D management, shared his journey from a technical staff to a management role. He described his initial resistance and current acceptance, emphasizing that continuous reflection and diligent study have led to comprehensive growth beyond just technical skills.
3
Engineer Zou: Resilience in Position, Industry Opportunities, Overcoming Difficulties
Zou, in charge of ceramic powder development, shared his insights on resilience. He believes resilience is not just working overtime but facing difficulties without avoidance, taking responsibility, and standing firm at critical moments. He noted that the explosive growth of AI technology has driven increased demand for computing power and electricity, presenting significant opportunities for the capacitor industry. Currently at an industry peak, despite risks, it’s crucial to seize opportunities and face challenges head-on, tackling difficulties in their roles.
Fostering Young Talent
The entire symposium lasted over three hours, with lively discussions and a harmonious atmosphere. This event further bridged the gap between the company’s core management and young R&D personnel, opening channels for communication and truly caring for the young talents’ development.
Next, the research institute will continue to improve the youth talent development system, establish a sound incentive mechanism for young R&D personnel, and build broader growth platforms for young talents. This will help them grow rapidly, contribute their youthful wisdom and strength to the company’s technological innovation, and strive for new heights in Fenghua Gaoke’s pursuit of excellence.
