Pakistani Prime Minister: The Pakistani armed forces are capable of crushing any invasion plot
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz on the 27th stated that the Pakistani armed forces are fully capable of crushing any invasion plots and will respond decisively to any provocation. According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office on the same day, Shehbaz said that the Pakistani people and armed forces are always ready to defend national security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The Pakistani armed forces possess professional skills, advanced training, and effective defense strategies, and are fully capable of responding to any internal or external challenges. Shehbaz emphasized that Pakistan has always advocated for peace, but will never allow any actions that harm its territorial integrity. The entire nation and armed forces stand shoulder to shoulder.
Sources from the Pakistani military told Xinhua that early on the 27th, Pakistan conducted airstrikes on key military facilities in Kabul, Kandahar Province, and Paktia Province in Afghanistan. The airstrikes aimed to respond to an attack by Afghanistan on Pakistani border posts on the evening of the 26th, destroying multiple Afghan command posts, ammunition depots, and logistics bases.
A spokesperson for the Afghan government said on social media on the 27th that after Pakistani forces carried out airstrikes in Kabul, Kandahar, and other areas, Afghanistan launched large-scale retaliatory attacks against Pakistani military targets from Kandahar Province and Helmand Province.
