On the 23rd, Iran’s Fars News Agency listed 11 key targets in the Middle East, including power plants and seawater desalination stations, among which is a nuclear power plant in the UAE. The report states that most energy and freshwater in the Middle East come from these power and desalination stations. Some U.S. media interpret these as potential targets Iran might strike. The 11 targets include two power and desalination stations and two thermal power plants in Kuwait; the Barakah nuclear power plant and two desalination stations in Tawiira in the UAE; Ras Al-Hair power and desalination station and two Shuaiba power and desalination stations in Saudi Arabia; Aqaba power station and two Samra thermal power plants in Jordan; Durr power and desalination station in Bahrain; and Umm Al-Houl power station and two power stations at Ras Kheir in Qatar.
