Indonesia's tin ingot exports are projected to decline by 47% in January 2026.

According to data released by Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade, tin ingot exports in January 2026 declined by 47% to 2,653.7 tons. 1) Imports to China surged to 1,775.0 tons in January, a 162% month-on-month increase, accounting for 67% of the total. 2) Meanwhile, major export destinations in the previous quarter saw significant reductions: exports to Singapore plummeted from 1,399.5 tons in December last year to 170.4 tons, an 88% month-on-month decrease; exports to South Korea dropped from 902.5 tons to 384.0 tons, a 57% decline.
