IT Home, March 17 — NVIDIA announced the launch of its first domain-specific physical AI platform for medical robots at GTC2026, including the world’s largest medical robot dataset Open-H, the Cosmos-H open model family, the GR00T-H VLA model, and the Rheo development blueprint.

IT Home learned that Open-H contains 776 hours of surgical videos, featuring 11 robot system instances and 4 surgical indications; the Cosmos-H model supports evaluating medical robot decisions through prompts, images, and videos; the GR00T-H model can process text commands describing clinical tasks and generate motion commands called action tokens; Rheo can be used to create physically accurate hospital environment simulations.

Open-H, Cosmos-H, and GR00T-H are now available on GitHub and Hugging Face for developers to conduct further training and tailor them for specific surgical scenarios.
