SlowMist Cosine: Coinbase has taken down the page that requested users to enter their plaintext seed phrases.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Yu Xian, founder of Slow Fog, posted on the X platform stating that Coinbase has taken down the page requesting users to enter their plaintext seed phrases. He pointed out that the security model of online web pages for wallets is very weak, much lower than that of extensions and apps; collecting plaintext seed phrases on online web pages is easy for phishing sites to imitate and has long been a common phishing tactic.
