The National Medical Products Administration announced the registration and approval status of innovative medical devices and other products for 2025. In 2025, the NMPA continued to review relevant products according to the “Special Review Procedures for Innovative Medical Devices” and the “Priority Approval Procedures for Medical Devices.” A total of 457 applications for special approval of innovative medical devices were received, with 104 approved to enter the special review process; 38 priority applications were received, with 26 approved for priority review.
