Coterra Energy Inc. reported adjusted earnings per share of 39 cents for Q4 2025, missing estimates due to weaker oil and NGL realizations and increased operating expenses. Despite this, the company’s operating revenues of $1.9 billion surpassed estimates, driven by stronger year-over-year revenue from oil, natural gas, and NGLs. Coterra also announced a merger with Devon Energy Corporation, aiming to create a leading shale operator with significant synergy targets.
