On March 23, reporters learned from Shenzhen Customs that in the first two months of 2026, Shenzhen’s total import and export value reached 824.23 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.3%, setting a new record for the same period. Mechanical and electrical products remain the “ballast stone” of Shenzhen’s foreign trade. In the first two months, Shenzhen exported 360.17 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, a 30.6% increase, accounting for 72.9% of total exports; imported 253.42 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, a 33.4% increase, making up 76.8% of total imports.
