Why do men prefer women with stable emotions?

This year during the New Year, my wife was pulling on the steering wheel while we were on the highway, and the car directly hit the guardrail.
I blacked out for a moment, enduring the pain. I asked her: Why?
She directly questioned me: You disagree with me selling the old family house, and you dare to argue?
I didn’t reply and called 120.
The check-up results were: my left leg was fractured; my wife only had minor skin abrasions and nothing serious.
In the hospital, my wife calmed down.
She brought me food and said: Husband, I was wrong, I was in a bad mood.
I turned around and said: Let’s find a time to get a divorce.
My wife seemed to have become a different person and said: Divorce? On what grounds? If anyone’s proposing divorce, it’s me!
Angrily, my wife slammed the door and left, and everyone in the ward looked at me.
Thinking about her behavior: teaming up to play games and shutting down my computer; demanding I answer the phone 24/7; grabbing the steering wheel when we disagree…
Maybe next time, if I get even more serious, I might lose my life.
During the 15 days I was hospitalized, she never came to visit again.
On the first day I was discharged in a wheelchair, I called and notified her of the divorce.
My wife clearly didn’t expect me to be serious and cried loudly: I know I was wrong, I will change in the future…
Many people acted as mediators, but I refused them one by one.
Now she is already my ex-wife.
