On March 26, news reports that Sanming Transportation Group and CATL signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will collaborate deeply in areas such as electric buses, battery aftermarket services, and full lifecycle management of batteries, jointly promoting low-carbon transformation in Sanming’s transportation sector.

This cooperation will focus on three main directions: first, advancing the electrification upgrade of 100% of public buses to achieve fully green transportation; second, establishing maintenance and testing services for commercial vehicle batteries through authorized service stations and Ningjia Service, driving development in the vehicle aftermarket; third, jointly planning a city-level battery swapping network in Sanming to provide diversified charging solutions for local new energy vehicles.
