Yesterday, CME gold, silver, and copper trading volumes increased, while open copper contracts decreased.
Yesterday, trading volume for COMEX gold, silver, and copper increased, with open interest in gold and silver also rising, while copper open interest decreased. Gold futures volume was 559,242 contracts, up 271,302 from the previous trading day. Open interest was 407,402 contracts, an increase of 8,005. Silver futures volume was 108,164 contracts, up 49,271 from the previous day. Open interest was 112,912 contracts, an increase of 1,305. Copper futures volume was 110,343 contracts, up 37,941 from the previous day. Open interest was 222,257 contracts, a decrease of 3,105.
