Regarding the recent Middle East situation, Chinese Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Jiang Bin stated that the key to resolving the current crisis lies in all parties immediately ceasing fire and stopping the fighting, quickly returning to dialogue and negotiation, and avoiding further escalation and deterioration of the situation.

Israeli Defense Minister Katz stated that he and Prime Minister Netanyahu have authorized the military to kill any high-ranking Iranian officials listed as targets without prior approval.

Jiang Bin said that such remarks and actions seriously violate international law and go against human conscience and morality. From assassinating foreign leaders to indiscriminately attacking civilian targets, believing that force alone can ensure security only leads to a vicious cycle of deeper hatred and more intense conflict. He urged relevant parties to immediately stop military actions to prevent greater disasters in the Middle East and the world.

He called on all parties to immediately cease military operations, resolve conflicts and differences through equal dialogue, prevent the spillover of war, and avoid further escalation of the situation. China will continue to make active efforts to ease the situation and restore peace.
