Air China’s losses expanded to 1.8 billion RMB last year

Air China (00753) announced that as of the end of last year, the full-year loss was RMB 1.788 billion, with a loss of RMB 0.11 per share, and no final dividend will be paid; the loss for the same period in 2024 was RMB 233 million.

During the period, revenue reached RMB 171.485 billion, an increase of 2.87% year-on-year.

The company stated that it remains committed to the development goal of “accelerating the construction of a globally competitive world-class airline transportation group,” and adheres to four strategic directions: “hub network, passenger and cargo integration, cost leadership, and brand strategy.” It focuses on key areas such as safety management improvement, market layout optimization, resource structure adjustment, product and service upgrades, digital innovation development, and green low-carbon development to promote progress.
