People’s Financial News, March 25 — On March 25, 2026, China’s Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs, Zhai Jun, held a collective meeting with the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in China. Zhai Jun stated that the ongoing conflict severely threatens the security and stability of the Middle East. China values the reasonable security concerns of the GCC countries, understands and supports their efforts to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and is willing to maintain close communication with them to make relentless efforts to de-escalate the situation.
