Japanese citizens express regret over Takashi's election as Prime Minister

On February 26, the Japanese public held a study seminar in Tokyo to criticize Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s erroneous remarks regarding Taiwan and to express concerns and opposition to Takaichi’s administration’s continuous shift to the right, military expansion, and constitutional revision. Some participants in the event stated that a country’s leader should not only be responsible for domestic politics but also for international politics—yet Japan has elected a prime minister who lacks this perspective, which they feel very regretful and disappointed about. Others said that Sanae Takaichi is attempting to destroy Japan, and even the world. (CCTV International News)
