Apple tests standalone Siri app
On March 25, Apple reportedly tested a standalone Siri voice assistant application and a new “Ask Siri” feature that can run across its various software, as part of a broader major upgrade to its artificial intelligence (AI). Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Apple is also modernizing Siri, giving it a new interface and a chatbot-like experience. These individuals, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the confidential nature of the plans, stated that the new version of Siri is expected to be announced on June 8 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) as part of the iOS 27 and macOS 27 operating systems.
