Coffee futures prices fluctuate as tight supply offsets the impact of Brazil's upcoming harvest outlook.

Coffee futures prices are fluctuating as traders weigh the tight spot supply caused by transport disruptions against expectations of improved production from Brazil, the largest producer.

Robusta coffee futures rose by 1.1% at one point, before the gains narrowed. Arabica coffee futures prices on the New York market are also fluctuating between ups and downs.

The inventory of Robusta coffee in exchange-regulated warehouses continues to decline slightly, indicating persistent market tightness. At the same time, the premium for Vietnamese coffee beans is rising, reducing their attractiveness for delivering London futures contracts.

Arabica coffee on the New York market fell by 0.5% to $3.144 per pound. Robusta coffee remained basically flat.

Raw sugar on the New York market rose by 0.3%.
