SAIC Motor News, March 27 — On March 27, SAIC General Motors welcomed a special new employee at the "National-Level Intelligent Factory" Autone Super Factory in Jinqiao, Shanghai — "Nengzai No. 1." Based on the Zhiyuan Robotics "A2-W," "Nengzai No. 1" will undertake high-precision tasks on the battery mass production line of the Buick Zhijing E7. It is the first humanoid robot in SAIC Group and among the first in the automotive industry to be deployed on a mass production line, marking the first time that humanoid robots in the new energy manufacturing sector have reached international advanced equipment integration standards. This signifies a successful transition from preliminary validation to routine deployment.
