According to TechFlow news on March 28, Caixin reported that after being detained for more than two months, Chen Zhi, the founder of the Prince Group in Cambodia, is further facing sanctions from the UK against a Southeast Asian fraud network, which includes Hu Xiaowei, who is closely associated with Chen Zhi. The sanctions document released by the UK refers to Hu Xiaowei as “Wu Anming,” stating that he is associated with Chen Zhi and the Prince Group, and is a “long-term collaborator” of Chen Zhi, providing financial services, economic resources, technology, and other support.

It is reported that the cryptocurrency trading platform “Newcoin” has also been sanctioned. Newcoin is considered one of the largest illegal markets in Southeast Asia, providing cryptocurrency services to fraud centers, including selling stolen personal data and satellite internet equipment used to contact victims.
