The Central Economic Work Conference was held in Beijing from December 10 to 11. A relevant official with the Central Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs said that the economy is expected to grow by around 5% for the full year and continue to rank among the top major economies in the world, with the total economic output expected to reach around 140 trillion yuan. Employment will remain generally stable, foreign trade will grow at a faster pace, and the effectiveness of export diversification will be evident. Looking ahead to 2026, active factor mobility and innovation will continue to inject new momentum into development. The flow of people, logistics, information, and capital will maintain relatively rapid growth. Investment and consumption growth rates are expected to rebound, industrial transformation and upgrading will accelerate, and technological and industrial innovation will enter a stage of concentrated, large-scale results.
