People’s Financial News, March 26 - Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (688981) disclosed its annual report on March 26, projecting operating revenue of 67.323 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%; net profit attributable to shareholders of 5.041 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.3%; basic earnings per share of 0.63 yuan. In 2025, the smartphone market is expected to grow steadily, and the personal computer market will enter a replacement cycle, leading to increased sales; consumer electronics, smart wearables, and other devices will continue to expand steadily, driven by edge-side AI. The localization of the industrial chain continues to strengthen, with more wafer foundry demand returning to the domestic market. The company’s operating performance is steadily improving, maintaining its position as the second-largest pure-play wafer foundry globally.
