U.S. Defense Secretary says Iran's airspace will be controlled within a week, admits U.S. military sank an Iranian warship

U.S. Defense Secretary Hagel said on the 4th that a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, and that the U.S. and Israel will achieve “full control” over Iranian airspace within a week. Hagel and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dempsey held a press conference at the Pentagon on the same day. Hagel stated that the U.S. used a submarine-launched torpedo to sink an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean on the 3rd. This is the first time since World War II that a U.S. submarine has launched a torpedo at an enemy ship. (Xinhua)
