Its transportation and navigation platform Amap releases the world’s first city-level “Flying Street View” feature, and jointly with Macau Pass launches the “True Taste of Macau” street-scanning ranking list. By leveraging the capabilities and resources invested in artificial intelligence (AI) services, it helps local merchants acquire customers.

  • Build an “AI Digital Storefront”: Relying on Flying Street View technology, create 3D digital storefronts for merchants to improve operational efficiency

  • Intelligent operating tools: Provide professional offline training to lower the digital operations threshold for small and micro businesses

  • Millions in cash vouchers and tens of millions in traffic: Precisely direct users during peak travel season, turning search heat into in-person orders

  • “True Detective” influencer-driven customer acquisition: Integrate with high-quality store-visiting content on the platform, using public-traffic reach to expand brand influence

Regarding “Flying Street View,” it is based on Amap’s proprietary “World Model” technology, enabling travelers to break through spatial constraints:

  • Immersive experience: Users can view the entire cityscape of Macau from a 360-degree aerial perspective, as if they were there in person.
  • Empowering physical stores: English Kee, a long-established brand in Macau, said that through digital displays, the day-to-day deal volume of its branch near the Ruins of St. Paul increased by 23% month-on-month.

Strategic alliance: Amap, Sands China, and Macau Pass deepen cooperation

To further revitalize Macau’s “tourism + food” economic ecosystem, Amap has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Sands China and Macau Pass.

  • Sands Enjoy digitalization: Sands China’s Executive Vice Chairman Wang Yingwei said that integrating the Sands Enjoy member platform into Amap’s ecosystem can empower the catering industry with digital technology, helping Macau build an “international food capital.”
  • A new path for integrating culture, tourism, and commerce: The Director of the Macau Government Tourism Office, Wen Qihua, emphasized that the “Amap street-scanning ranking list” landing in Macau as the Greater Bay Area’s first stop will help visitors discover distinctive small shops and invigorate the vitality of cultural and tourism consumption.

Amap CEO Guo Ning: Build “trust assets” for real-world services

Amap’s Chief Executive Officer Guo Ning said that the original intention of the street-scanning ranking list is to establish a credit system for real-world services through users’ genuine choices—“voting with their feet.” He emphasized:

“We look forward to transforming Macau’s unique urban appeal into calculable, transferable, and accumulable trust assets, and providing a reference example for digital transformation to drive innovation in cultural and tourism offerings across the Greater Bay Area.”
