British media: UK officials say they do not rule out involvement in future strikes against Iran's missile facilities

The British “Guardian” reported on the 4th that British officials stated that the UK “has not ruled out the possibility of participating in future strikes against Iran’s ballistic missile launch sites.” The report did not specify the identities of these British officials. It was reported that in the coming days, U.S. heavy bombers are expected to arrive at the British military base at Diego Garcia in the Chagos Islands, as well as at the RAF Fairford base in Gloucestershire, England. According to reports, these bombers will launch attacks on Iran’s underground missile facilities from the aforementioned bases. British media had previously reported that the UK had refused to allow the U.S. to use the military base on the Chagos Islands to strike Iran, citing international law. Starmer issued a statement on the 1st, stating that he had agreed to the U.S. using the military base for “specific and limited” defensive purposes. (Xinhua)
