Egyptian Foreign Minister holds intensive consultations with eight countries on the Middle East situation

On the 23rd local time, Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdel Atti held phone conversations with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah, Omani Foreign Minister Badr, Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar, French Foreign Minister Barro, Cypriot Foreign Minister Kambos, and U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs Wittekov to discuss the situation in the Middle East and alleviate tensions. Abdel Atti emphasized that dialogue is the fundamental way to ensure the region is protected from the risk of conflict escalation. All parties must work together to ease the situation. Egypt fully supports and actively participates in all initiatives and efforts aimed at achieving peace and ending the war. He reiterated that Egypt will spare no effort in promoting dialogue and diplomacy, committed to achieving security and stability in the region and the world. (CCTV News)
