HyperEVM Suspected to Be Experiencing Major Malfunction as On-Chain Data Stops Updating

On April 2, according to monitoring by on-chain security firm PeckShield, HyperEVM is suspected to be experiencing a major malfunction. This is based on the observation that the block explorer page shows the latest blocks and transactions have remained at ‘1 hour ago,’ with some blocks displaying zero transactions, indicating that on-chain data may have stopped updating. However, user responses indicate that the aforementioned anomaly is actually a data delay issue with the block explorer itself, rather than a failure of the underlying HyperEVM chain. A banner at the top of the explorer page even warns that ‘block data may be delayed,’ and other third-party explorers (such as Hyperscan) continue to show normal on-chain activity.
